KYC Policy

Slottio is committed to following the "Know Your Customer" (KYC) guidelines designed to combat financial crime and money laundering by verifying user identity and performing due diligence.

We reserve the right to request KYC documents at any time to confirm a user’s identity and location within Slottio. Until the necessary information is provided and verified, we may limit access to services, payments, or withdrawals. This is done at our sole discretion and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Our approach is risk-based, meaning we conduct thorough due diligence checks and monitor all users and transactions on an ongoing basis. In line with anti-money laundering laws, we apply three levels of due diligence depending on the assessed risk, transaction size, and customer profile:

  • SDD (Simplified Due Diligence): Applied to transactions with minimal risk that stay below set thresholds.
  • CDD (Customer Due Diligence): The standard procedure used in most situations for identity verification.
  • EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence): Reserved for high-risk customers, significant transactions, or special circumstances.

Additionally, when a user’s total deposits reach or exceed €2,000 (or equivalent in another currency), or when they request any withdrawal, complete a suspicious transaction, or attempt to do so, they are required to undergo the full KYC process.

Required Documents for KYC

Users will need to provide basic personal details and upload the following:

  1. Government-Issued Photo ID: A clear copy of an official photo ID (front and back may be required depending on the document).
  2. Selfie with ID: A photo of the user holding the same ID document submitted.
  3. Proof of Address: A recent bank statement or utility bill.
  4. Proof of Funds: A photo of the payment card used for deposits, showing the first 6 and last 4 digits, with the CVV/CVC hidden.

KYC Submission Requirements

Proof of Identity:

  • Signature must be visible if required.
  • The user must not reside in any restricted jurisdiction, including but not limited to the USA, UK, Netherlands, France, Australia, Spain, Austria, Comoros, Germany, Dutch West Indies territories, FATF-blacklisted or sanctioned countries, or any other regions where Curaçao or the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority prohibits online gambling.
  • The full name must match the account holder’s name.
  • The ID must be valid for at least three more months.
  • The user must be over 18 years old.

Proof of Residence:

  • Must be a recent (within 3 months) utility bill or bank statement.
  • The full name must correspond to that on the ID.
  • The country of residence must not be on the restricted list outlined above.

Selfie with ID:

  • The person in the selfie must be the same as on the ID.
  • The ID shown must match the one submitted earlier, including ID number and photo.

Proof of Deposit:

  • Provide images of the front and back of the deposit card, showing only the first 6 and last 4 digits, with the CVV/CVC concealed.
  • The cardholder’s name must match the registered account name.
  • If the card has a signature panel, it must be signed.

Additional Information on the KYC Process

If a KYC submission is unsuccessful, the reason is documented, and a support ticket is generated. Users will receive the ticket number along with an explanation.

Once we have all the required and valid documents, the account is verified and approved.

We aim to process KYC verifications within 48 hours.
